Morpheus8 for Face

How It Works

The process involves a device with fine, insulated needles that create micro-punctures in the skin, prompting the body's natural healing response. As the skin heals, it produces increased amounts of collagen and elastin, crucial for maintaining a youthful appearance. Simultaneously, the radiofrequency energy delivered through these needles heats the deeper layers of the skin, enhancing collagen production and promoting tighter, smoother skin. This synergy of microneedling and radiofrequency not only addresses fine lines but sagging and tightening as well.

Prepping for the Treatment

  • Avoid Sun Exposure: Refrain from sun exposure for at least two weeks before the treatment. Sunburned or tanned skin can increase the risk of complications and reduce the effectiveness of the laser.
  • Stop Certain Medications: Your provider may advise you to discontinue the use of certain medications or supplements, particularly those that increase bleeding risk, such as aspirin or fish oil. Always consult with your healthcare provider before stopping any medication.
  • Avoid Harsh Treatments: These may irritate the skin and it's best to avoid for 1-2 weeks prior to treatment (waxing, depilatories, etc.)
  • Avoid Skincare Products: Discontinue the use of exfoliants, retinoids, or other harsh skincare products about a week before your treatment. These can make your skin more sensitive and potentially increase the risk of irritation.
  •  Arrive with Clean Skin: Make sure to arrive at your appointment with clean, dry skin and without any makeup or skincare products.

What to expect

Immediately after the treatment you may experience some warmth and mild discomfort on the area as well as a pink or red hue on the skin.  Peeling and Dryness may be evident but should disappear as the skin heals over time. It is important to keep your skin hydrated and adopt the use of sun-block after the treatments as well as avoiding sun exposure.

Laser Genesis

How It Works

Laser Genesis is a non-invasive skin rejuvenation treatment that harnesses the power of laser technology to promote skin tightening and overall skin health. The procedure uses a Nd laser to deliver gentle, controlled pulses of heat to the dermal layers of the skin. This thermal energy stimulates the production of collagen, the protein responsible for maintaining skin elasticity and firmness. As collagen fibers regenerate, they help to smooth out fine lines, tighten loose skin, and improve skin texture and tone.

Prepping for the Treatment

  • Avoid Sun Exposure: Refrain from sun exposure for at least two weeks before the treatment. Sunburned or tanned skin can increase the risk of complications and reduce the effectiveness of the laser.
  • Stop Certain Medications: Your provider may advise you to discontinue Photosensitive medications (doxycycline, tetracycline and antibiotics ) and Retinoids ( tretinoin, adapalene, retin-A, etc) for at least 3 days prior.

Immediately after the treatment you may notice some warmth on the area as well as a pink or red hue on the skin.  It is important to keep your skin hydrated and adopt the use of sun-block after the treatments as well as avoiding sun exposure.
